Instructions
Make Simple Syrup
In a small saucepan add the water, brown sugar, and rosemary. Bring to a simmer. Simmer for 10 minutes.
Strain any of the rosemary out of the simple syrup. Set the simple syrup aside to cool.
Make Cocktail
In a shaker, mix ice, juice from a lemon, brown sugar and rosemary simple syrup, and whiskey. Shake for 30 seconds.
Pour the whiskey sour in a whiskey glass over a large ice ball (or just ice cubes). Garnish with a rosemary sprig and serve.
