  • Shaker
  • Round Ice Mold (if you don't have one-regular ice will work)
  • Saucepan
  • Strainer

Ingredients
  

Brown Sugar & Rosemary Simple Syrup

  • 1 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 cup Water
  • 3 Sprigs Rosemary

Brown Sugar & Rosemary Whiskey Sour

  • 3 oz. Whiskey
  • .5 oz. Brown Sugar & Rosemary Simple Syrup
  • .5 oz. Lemon Juice

Instructions
 

Make Simple Syrup

  • In a small saucepan add the water, brown sugar, and rosemary. Bring to a simmer. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  • Strain any of the rosemary out of the simple syrup. Set the simple syrup aside to cool.

Make Cocktail

  • In a shaker, mix ice, juice from a lemon, brown sugar and rosemary simple syrup, and whiskey. Shake for 30 seconds.
  • Pour the whiskey sour in a whiskey glass over a large ice ball (or just ice cubes). Garnish with a rosemary sprig and serve.
