Brussel sprouts have always been weird for me. Honesty Hour: I have never really been a fan. My husband LOVES brussel sprouts though, so when I started cooking for him, I had to get creative and fine brussel sprouts that worked for the both of us. I had tried balsamic brussel sprouts and to me, there just still wasn’t enough flavor. I felt like I had to amplify them even more, so I did! Shallots are one of my favorite ingredients! They can seriously take a dish TO THE NEXT LEVEL! If a dish is ever blahh to you, saute a shallot, toss it in, let the flavors marry, and then tell me how you feel about the dish! Also… bacon… I mean we all know bacon adds flavor, fat, & salt to any dish! Delicious, am I right?! I hope you love these simple, quick, roasted sprouts as much as I do!
